About the service

Autoregulate provides strength-training programs, workout logging, training estimates, and equipment planning for personal use. These terms apply to your use of the app and website. The service is provided by Evan Dempsey.

Your account

Use accurate account information, keep your sign-in secure, and use an account you are authorised to access. You are responsible for the information and photos you submit. Do not upload material that infringes someone else’s rights, bypass access controls, misuse the service, or interfere with its operation.

Membership and payment

Training features require an account and a paid membership. US base prices are $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year. There is no free trial. Your App Store purchase screen displays your local price, billing period, and applicable terms before you confirm. Annual membership is billed as one annual payment.

Automatic renewal and cancellation

Apple charges your Apple account when you confirm a purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Autoregulate.

Cancellation stops future renewal; access ordinarily continues through the period you have paid for, subject to Apple’s terms. Deleting the app or your Autoregulate account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Request eligible refunds through Apple’s refund service. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Restoring purchases

Sign in to the Autoregulate account associated with your membership and use Restore purchases in the membership screen. Use the Apple account that made the purchase. Expired or refunded subscriptions may not provide current access.

Gym photo analyses

Membership includes up to 30 analyses per calendar month and five per day, measured in UTC. Each analysis can include up to eight photos. A technical retry of the same job does not use an extra analysis. Limits reset rather than accumulate. You can also maintain your equipment inventory manually.

Photo recognition can miss or misidentify equipment. Review the results, check the equipment available to you, and confirm exercises before using a generated program. You retain rights to your photos and grant us permission to process them as needed to provide the analysis, as explained in the privacy policy.

Training responsibly

Programs, strength estimates, recovery indicators, and calculators are informational training tools. They do not provide medical advice, diagnose injuries, or guarantee results. Use suitable technique and equipment, select loads you can control, and stop if an exercise causes pain or unusual symptoms. Seek qualified advice when your health, injury history, or training experience calls for it.

Availability and changes

Some functions need connectivity or third-party services. We work to keep the service available, but interruptions, updates, or errors can occur. We may change features and these terms, providing notice where required. Material subscription changes are subject to the App Store’s purchase and consent rules and applicable law.

Suspension, deletion, and your data

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, comply with law, or protect accounts and systems. You can export your data or request deletion from the app. See account deletion for the process and information about subscriptions and retained records.

Ownership and consumer rights

Autoregulate’s software, brand, and supplied materials belong to their respective owners. Your membership permits personal use of the service; it does not transfer ownership of that material. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your applicable consumer rights.
